I think the DCRB example has to be changed, since _Standard citations_ =
has the form:=20

Hiler, H. Bib. of costume
=20

Frankly, though, I don't know why Standard citations didn't just =
establish it as: Hiler, H. Costume

I note that in following example the AACR2 abbreviation "Bibl." is used, =
whereas Standard Citation Forms advises using the abbreviation "Bib." Is =
there any intention to draw attention to this anomaly here or elsewhere =
in DCRM?=20

References: Hiler, H. Bibl. of costume, p. 386

Dear colleagues,

The alpha version of DCRM(B) area 7 is now posted on the DCRM revision =
site. The primary changes are those to give more examples of =
machine-press books, and a substantial rewriting of 7C18, copy-specific =
notes, based on the work of Brian Hillyard and David Pearson in the =
[British] Rare Books Group _Guidelines for the Cataloguing of Rare =
Books._ It gives more guidance on varying levels of details on =
provenance and binding descriptions.=20

Please make your comments (except for typos) to the list. Thanks.

Deborah
