Hello,

The agenda for the MARC Advisory Committee's Annual meeting, June 25-26,
2025 <https://www.loc.gov/marc/mac/an2025_age.html>, has been published.
The slate of 3 proposals and 10 discussion papers are now available to the
MARC community for discussion prior to the meeting.

I anticipate that proposal 2025-04
<https://www.loc.gov/marc/mac/2025/2025-04.html> (which the RBMS
Bibliographic Standards Committee has agreed to cosponsor) has particular
relevance to the rare materials cataloging community. However, feedback is
welcome on any and all of the 13 papers and proposals.

I will compile all of the RBMS community feedback and share it with the
MARC Advisory Committee (MAC) prior to the meeting. This will also help
inform my participation and voting during the meeting itself.

Please use this Google Form <https://forms.gle/nNanttHeoLf3sJPw6> to *submit
your feedback by Monday, June 16, 2025:*

The MAC meetings will be held on Zoom. Unfortunately, the MAC meetings
conflict with the RBMS Conference, but if you're interested in attending as
an observer, information about meeting access will be available in June.

Apologies for cross-posting! Feel free to share the survey with interested
colleagues who may not have received this invitation.

Thank you for your input!

Matthew Haugen

RBMS Liaison to the MARC Advisory Committee
